Cheryl J. Reed Loyd Denton, 67 of Centralia, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at her home. She was born May 1, 1947 in Montgomery, Alabama, daughter of Neely T. Reed and Martha (Coram) Reed.
She married Donald E. Loyd, Sr. in 1965 and they later divorced. She then married Floyd Denton, Jr. and they later divorced.
She is survived by three sons: Donald E. Loyd, Jr. and wife Beth of Centralia, Carroll Edward Loyd and wife Rosie of Round Lake Beach, and Darrell Loyd and wife Loretta of Arkansas; two daughters: Sandy Loyd of Brookport and Carrie Rowcliff and husband Frank of Centralia; 35 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Neely Reed, Jr. of Centralia and Terry Reed of Walnut Hill; a sister, Cindy Reed of Centralia; long time family friend, Roy Robinson of Centralia; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: Kelly Reed, Sr., two grandsons: Dalton Neely Loyd and Edward Joseph Loyd.
Cheryl enjoyed talking on the phone, texting family and friends, spending time of facebook. She was a bar tender for many years. She most of all loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
