Cheryl Edgecomb Blackford, 38, of Frankton, passed away, July 18, 2017 at the Indiana University Hospital Indianapolis, Indiana surrounded by her loving family after bravely battling several debilitating health issues.

She was born, December 3, 1978 in Anderson and resided all of her life in this area. Cheryl graduated from Frankton High School in 1997 and from Indiana Business College. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church, Anderson, IN . Cheryl’s life was her family and her passion, always worrying about them before herself. She loved planning and taking vacations with her family. Cheryl liked to collect Campbell’s soup memorabilia for her kitchen, and had a passion for singing.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, and best friend Aaron Blackford of Frankton, whom she married April, 10, 1999 in Anderson, a son, Riley Blackford of Frankton, two daughters, Kinsey Blackford and Emilee Blackford of Frankton, mother, Joyce Edgecomb of Frankton, and a sister, Brenda (Mark) Flick of Bloomington, brother and sister in laws, Jason Blackford of Carmel, Carrie Elder of Elwood, Joshua Stowers of Greenfield, Lauren Blackford of PA.

Cheryl is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Ashley Flick, Allison Flick, Chandler Blackford, Aidan Blackford, Lucy Blackford, Garrett Elder, Grace Elder, loyal canine companion Einstein, and numerous loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert “Bob” Edgecomb, father and mother in law, Dale Blackford and Sheryl Stowers, grandparents, Elmer and Doris Edgecomb and Coy and Faye Morgan.
