Cheever Tuffin, 88, of Casey, Iowa, passed away January 10, 2010, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center, Hope Harbor, in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Cheever Lowell Tuffin was born May 9, 1921, in Guthrie County, Iowa, the son of Wendell Cheever and Mary Myrtle (Johnson) Tuffin. He was a life time resident of Guthrie County, Iowa, attending rural schools and graduating from Panora High School in 1938.
He was a farmer by trade, but also worked as a meat cutter at the Adair and Atlantic Lockers and most recently as a meter reader for the REC.
