Charlotte Evans May, 79, Lakeview, passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 in a local hospital. Charlotte was born to the late James and Linnie Evans. She was a resident of the Lakeview area all of her life and was of the Methodist faith. Charlotte was employed by Joy Carpet for more than 20 years. She is preceded in death by husband of 54 years R.D.(Roy) May, sisters, Virginia Baker, Clara Lynn Snyder, Billie Jean Ross, and brother, James R. Evans. Charlotte is survived by sons, David (Cathy) May, Rossville, Fred (Gina) May, Rossville, daughter, Linda (Vincent) Sparks, Fort Oglethorpe, grandchildren, Tiffany Bice, Lance Tanner, Miranda Weathers, Christopher May, Chantel Buffington, Jeri May and Great-grandchildren Dylan and Ansley Bice, Luke and Emaleigh Grace Tanner, Shelby Brewer, Aubrey Buffington, and Kloe Osborne.
