Mrs. Kolka passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 at her residence. Age 52 years. She was born June 28, 1957 in Bay City. Scotty was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with people. Mrs. Kolka is survived by her husband Joseph Kolka whom she married November 27, 1976; five children: Joseph (Lucy) Kolka, Jr., Corey (Marilyn) Kolka, Shawn Kolka, Morgan Kolka and William (Ashley) Kolka; three grandchildren: Abby Kolka, Natalie Dombrowski and Kelly Ryzinski; parents, Morgan and Joanne Hayes; one brother, Morgan (Joanne) Hayes; two sisters, Wendy (Steve) Blackwell and Jamie (Kerry) Schweinsberg; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Scotty was preceded in death by two uncles, Kenny Guinden and Bill Weber. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of McLaren Hospice and all of Scotty’s sisters for their compassion and care.
