     Charlotte Laura Jamison, 87, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, at the GoldenLivingCenter in Muncie, Indiana. She was born May 17, 1923, in St. James, Missouri, the daughter of William and Ella Wellman Furling, and attended school in St. James.

     Throughout her life Mrs. Jamison lived in Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois and Indiana.

     From 1963 to 1970 she lived in Knightwtown, IN, where she and her husband, Harrison Jamison, were dorm parents at the Soldier and Sailors Home. She was also a senior companion in nursing homes.

     Mrs. Jamison loved to bake and had won several ribbons at the state fairs for the pies she had baked.

     Surviving are three sons, Terry Jamison, (wife, Cheryl), Jasper, Texas, David Jamison, (wife, Berneice), Muncie, IN, and Patrick Jamison, (wife, Tonya), Glen Poole, Oklahoma; her sister, Annine Snelson, Rolla, Missouri; her brother, William Furling, (wife, Dolores), Springfield, Illinois; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters, Jane and Amelia.
