Charlotte Catherine Murrell was born on August 22, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio to Willa Mae Tigner and Frank Bradshaw. Her mother passed when she was only a baby, leaving her to be raised by her Aunt Susan Bell. Once her aunt passed away, she was adopted by her loving big sister, Brenda Brown.
Charlotte attended school at Manual High School. She worked at the ECLC Learning Centerthrough the 80’s, Montgomery Awards in 90’s and Target through the early 90’s. She later retired in 1996. When she retired she took care of her grandchildren, who she loved dearly.
Charlotte married the love of her life, the late Santee O. Murrell Sr. on November 29, 1975.
Charlotte made her earthly transition to her eternal resting place on January 26, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband: Santee O. Murrell Sr.; parents: Willie Mae Tigner and Frank Bradshaw; brothers: John Tigner and Bobby Bradshaw and other family members she loved dearly.
Charlotte leaves to carry her legacy her children: Patrick (TY) Tigner, Santee (Tashawnda) Murrell Jr., LaTasha (Dwayne) Jones; sisters: Shirley Coleman, Brenda Brown, and Marsha Vertner; brothers: Ezzel (Amber) Murrell and Tony Tigner; in-laws: Charlotte Harmon, Clarence (Marie) Murrell and Jerry Murrell; bonus children: Derrick, Gloria, Sean, Kevin, LaTasha S., Denise, Steph, Corkney, Jimbo and Ted (Son/Nephew); close friends: Vernita Daniels, Denise Blackburn, Alford Robinson and Janice Fye; 21 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
