Charlotte Ann Palmer, 75 of Charlestown, MD, passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at home.
Born in Parkersburg, WV, on August 26, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Charles and the late Maureen Knight Leavitt. Mrs. Palmer was the beloved wife of Rev. Robert J. Palmer of Charlestown, MD.
She was a member and Bible Study Teacher at Mt. Vernon Mennonite Church. Charlotte ministered with her husband at Sandy Cove Ministries and Hilltop Ranch.
In addition to her loving husband, survivors include: her children: Robert J. Palmer, Jr. of Charlestown, MD, Charles T. Palmer of Fayetteville, GA, Michael W. Palmer of Greenville, TX, and Rebecca L. Palmer of Greenville, TX; two sisters: Marilyn Rivers and Jane Berkhead; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carr Leavitt.
Rev. Mervin Charles will officiate.
