Charline V. (Craw) Mitchener, age 86, of Fairmount, IN, passed away at 11:30 PM Friday, December 24, 2010, at Ball Memorial Hospital. Charline was born on July 13, 1924 in Grant County to the late Maude (George) and John Craw. She was a graduate of Fairmount High School. She married Donald C. (Peck) Mitchener in 1946. She retired from Driskill’s market in Fairmount after 25 years of employment and was an active volunteer at the Fairmount Historical Museum.
She enjoyed working puzzles, needlepoint and cake decorating. She attended Grant United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Maude (George) and John Craw, a sister, Lavedah Craw, her husband Donald C. (Peck) Mitchener, and infant son, David Randall Mitchener and Daughter Peggy A. (Carl) Hanes. She is survived by; Three Sons: Martin (Harmony) Mitchener, Marion, IN Richard (Pamm) Mitchener, Coatesville, IN Timothy (Kari Bragg) Mitchener, Fairmount, IN 2 daughters; Carolyn (Mark) Kratzer, Uniontown, OH Sarah (Steve) Duecker, Muncie, IN.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. One Brother: Frederick (Florence) Craw, Fairmount, IN.
