Charlie Eugene “Speed” Robinson, 80, of 2045 Glamorgan Road Fayetteville, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007, in Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
He is survived by his wife, Bettie Mae Robinson of the home; children, J.B. and Charlie of Wade, Dwight, Janice and Charlotte all of Eastover, Wilma of Goldsboro, Stella of Fredricksburg, VA, and Wanda of Charlotte; a brother, Paul Robinson of Vander; half-brother, Benjamin Jones of Parkton; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
