Charlie Hamilton, 66, Anderson, died July 23, 2002 at his residence after a well fought battle with cancer. He was born September 28, 1935 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived in this area all of his life. He retired in 1999 from General Motors after 45 years of service as a mold maker. Charlie Hamilton lived a happy and simple life, enjoying his family and close friends and lending a helping hand to all that were fortunate to know him.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Shirley Hellems Hamilton. Two Sons: Jim Hamilton and special friend Gina Kepner of Pendleton. John & wife Brenda Hamilton of Pendleton. Four Grandchildren: Jason, Kimberly, Corey and Joshua. Special Cousin: Dianne Augustinovicz of Anderson. Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law: Betty & Norman Shuman; Norma Isanogle; Virginia & Bill Cripps; Carolyn & Emerson Burns and Janet Allmond. Several Nieces, Nephews and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his Mother: Helen Swartz Hamilton Russell.
