Charlie Glenn Netherton, 77, of Anderson, passed away on January 7, 2015, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on April 9, 1937, in Moss, Tennessee, and resided most of his life in Anderson.
He was a semi-retired excavator and owner of C.G. Netherton Trucking. He loved country music, NASCAR racing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife Sandra (Hughes) Netherton, son, Rick (Cindy) Netherton, daughter, Teresa Netherton, sister, Wilma (Lawrence) Hestand, brother, Carl (Geneva) Netherton, granddaughter, Hayley (Doug) Trefun, grandson, Joshua Netherton, great-granddaughter, Juna Trefun, sisters-in-law, Carol Sheets, and Linda Reeves, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Netherton, father, Amos Netherton, brother, Harold Netherton, and sister, Elma Clarkson. P
