Charlie F. Watts, 84, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at his home in Fishers. He was born in Mexico, MO on July 13, 1928 to the late John Thomas and Mattie (Davis) Watts. He had worked as a crane and loader operator for Irving Materials, Inc., retiring in 1992 after 37 years of work. Charlie was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 103 and was also a 47-year member and a former Deacon at Fortville Christian Church. He also enjoyed camping at New Lisbon Campground and was a member of the Twilighters Camping Club and Capitol City Campers.

He is survived by his son John Russell Watts of Fishers; daughter Cherlyn Dawn (Rodney) Harris of Noblesville; and grandchildren Anthony Charles and Jami Lee Harris.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie L. Watts; grandson Brandon J. Harris; and siblings Martha Avery, Joe Kelly Watts, John Thomas “J.T.” Watts, and Hazel Beasley.
