Charley L. Rhoads, age 84, of Marion, IN, went home to be with our Heavenly Father after a nine month stay, at VA Northern Indiana Health Care Center in Marion, IN. He was born in Wabash, Indiana to the late Norman D. Rhoads and the late HazelM. (Kumley) Rhoads. On his 18th birthday Charley joined the U.S. Army, serving in the 4th Infantry during the end of WWII.

During his working years Charley held trades of foundry man, spray-painter, cabinet maker and pipe-fitter. Charley loved to garden, raise roses and loved his puppy-girl, Molley. He was a member of the Marion Memorial Tabernacle Charley married Ruth Baker Hall on December 14, 1986.

She survives in Marion. He is also survived by: Three Daughters: Kathleen Raschka, Oroville, CA Julia (David) Raschkaand Rosalita Morton both of Oroville, WA Two Sons: Charley (Sherry) Rhoads, Springport, IN Rusty Rhoads, Anderson, IN Step-Daughter, Lauri Hall, Marion Step-son, Lonnie Hall, Pendleton, IN One Sister: Neppise Harman (Chuck Hammack), Ocala, FL Two Brothers: Armen (Rachel) Rhoads, Tacoma, WA George (Peggy) Rhoads, Wabash, IN 18Grand Children, 35 Great-Grandchildren 10 (and still counting) Great-great Grandchildren. Half-sibling, Linda, Normie, Dorwin, Dennis, Ron,Ricky, and Martha Rhoads all of the Plymouth, Indiana area.

He is preceded in death by sister Donaretha and half-sister Lena who died as infants and brothers Dickey Lee and Billie Joe who were 7 and 10, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. His first wife Helen (Futrell) Rhoads mother of his 4 older children and second wife, Cecil R. (Kelly) Rhoads, mother of his youngest son.
