Charles William Mattox, 78, Anderson, passed away March 8, 2010 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana.
He was born January 31, 1932 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of his life. Charles served his country in the US Army in Austria. He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 38 1/2 years of service. He attended Parkview Church of the Nazarene and the UAW Local #662. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sallie Wicker Mattox; children, Chuck Mattox Kelly, Christopher Mattox Eileen, Tammy Wise Steve and Cliff Mattox Julie; grandchildren, Kristin Hamilton, Ryan Mattox, Michael Mattox, Ashley England, Morgan Mattox, Christopher Mattox, Charlie Mattox, Spencer Wise and Jessica Mattox; two great grandchildren, Alora & Kayla; several nieces & nephews and special friends, Bob Harmon, Doug Lawson and Larry Bright.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel & Hazel Gallman Mattox and nine siblings.
