Charles W. “Bill” Saunders, beloved husband of Delores Pauline DeLauder Saunders, passed peacefully May 8, 2013 at the United Hospital Center in his 81st year. He was born February, 21, 1932 in Harrison County; son of the late Roy Isaac Saunders and Ada Virginia Amos Saunders. In addition to his wife of 62 years he is survived by two children; Charles W. “Bill” Saunders II (Sharon) of Conway, S.C, Sheri Lea Ryder of St. Albans, WV, four grandchildren; Erin Palmieri (Tom) of Concord, NC, Justin Ryder (Brandy) of Clarksburg, Sarah Kenney (Sam) of Conway, SC, Jill Gwilt (Todd) of Galloway, OH; seven great grandchildren; Dillon, Andrew, Hope, Lilley, Allyson, Jaxen, Marshall, three brothers; Gene Saunders (Joyce), Jim Saunders (Mary), Tom Saunders (Mary) all of Canton OH, one sister; Ruth Liebert of Akron, OH, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother; Roy Saunders Jr. and one sister; Rose Saunders. He was a much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Bill spent 50 years working in the heating and cooling industry and retired from RoJac Heating and Air as a Furnace Installer. In his spare time he loved woodworking and attending craft shows. He attended the Church of the Nazarene of Stonewood.
