Charles G. Santarlas, age 62 of Blountsville, AL passed away on October 20, 2012. He is formerly of Birmingham, AL. He was of Catholic Faith. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and the 117th Air National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Mary Elizabeth Santarlas, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Janet Santarlas; daughters, Rose Marie Santarlas, Leila Wakefield, Cathy Sterling, and Cynthia McKellar; son, Michael Santarlas; sister, Linda Calhoun; brothers, Everett Santarlas, Jr. and Stephen Santarlas; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
