Charles E. “Chuck” Rowell, age 77 of Birmingham, passed away September 3, 2009. He was retired from Mortgage Corporation of the South and Jefferson Title. He was an avid golfer and a member of Cumberland Lake Country Club and Huffman United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Lochridge Rowell; daughter, Vicki Rowell Weaver; son-in-law, Jim Weaver; grandchildren, Carter, Emily, and Austin Weaver all of Dallas, TX; brother Ray Rowell (Kate) of Pensacola, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
