Charles Robert Niccum, 57, Anderson, died July 12, 2005 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness.
He was born January 9, 1948 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana all of his life.
He retired in 1999 from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Local #662 and Anderson American Legion. After a long and couragous battle with cancer, his strength, humor and love will enable all those who survive to cherish his memories.
He is survived by his wife whom he married June 19, 1970: Wanda Black Niccum. Daughters: Angela & husband Dale Swallows of Anderson. Andrea & husband Anthony Shields of Anderson. Leighia & husband Erik Feldmanis of Indianapolis. Siblings: Mary Snelson of Anderson. Frank Niccum of Anderson. Dorothy & husband James Johnson of Anderson. Geraldine Niccum of Russell Springs, Kentucky. Thomas & wife Linda Niccum of Santa Clara, California. Five Grandchildren: Justin Emmons, Ashley Emmons, Chloe Shields, Meghan Feldmanis and Jake Feldmanis. Several Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Gilbert Ray & Edna Russell Niccum. Sister: Martha Hinton. Brother: Donald Niccum.
