Those left to honor Chuck’s memory are his wife, Lois; son, David (Kimberly) Harrington of Phoenix, Arizona; daughter, Cheryl Harrington of Des Moines, Iowa; two step sons, Scott (Traci) Ratcliff of Newton, and Randall (Wanda) Ratcliff of San Antonio, Texas; step daughter, Angela Nichol of Newton, and step daughter-in-law, T. J. Ratcliff of Newton; his two grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, and six step great-grandchildren; his brother, Leo (Marcia) Harrington of Newton; and several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Clifford and Gertrude Lucille (Combs) Harrington; first wife, Louise (Berg) in 1993; and step son, Robert Ratcliff.
Chuck was a graduate of Newton High School in 1940 and a graduate of the University of Iowa School of Pharmacy in 1950.
