Charles Joseph Peebles, age 13, of Huntsville passed away on Friday March 25, 2011 at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.
Charles was a very active member of Boy Scouts of America Troup # 340 in Huntsville. He was a 7th grade student at Grace Lutheran School, where he was active in soccer, basketball, band, and the robotics club. Charles had a strong faith even in the face of his illness.
Charles is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles Raymond and Marian Ruth Peebles.
Charles is survived by his parents, Michael and Cyndi Peebles; his sister, Anna Peebles; his maternal grandparents, Larry Joe and Marilyn Ruth Ballentine; his Uncle and Aunts, Todd and Laura Ballentine and Carolyn Peebles; his cousins, Emily and Christopher Ballentine; and numerous extended family and friends.
