Charles “Pat” Patrick Theisen, 1947-2016
On the morning of June 5th, 2016 Charles passed away of natural causes at his home. He was 69 years old.
Charles “Pat” was born in Igloo, South Dakota on January 11, 1947 to William Peter Theisen and Edna Agnes Hooker. He was the youngest of three children. His spent his years living all over the western states, including Illinois, New Mexico, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah, however he always had a strong love for the Black Hills of South Dakota.
After graduating Clearfield High School in Utah, he went on to Weber State University where he majored in biology, botany and zoology.
His career in environmental sciences took him all over the landscape of the west.
