Charles P. Fehr, 92, of Freeport, died Thursday, July 7, 2011, at FHN Memorial Hospital. Born August, 19, 1918 in Dakota Township he was the son of Raymond and Effie (Frankeberger) Fehr. He married Bessie L. Passet November 23, 1944 in Rock Grove Lutheran Church. He was a Farmer and also worked for Structo. His memberships included, Trinity Lutheran Church in Durand, RSVP, Senior Citizens at Dakota, Rock City and Davis, SHARE Program, Antique Engine Club, Winneshiek Theatre, and Thrivent Lutheran Church Program. Surviving are his wife, Bessie of Orangeville; his sons, Alden (Mary) Fehr of Freeport and Dennis (LaVonne) Fehr of Davis; his sister, Wanda (Robert) Hilton of Clear Lake, Wisconsin; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 infant brothers and 1 brother, Raymond Fehr.
