Charles O. Noble, age 89, of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky died on Monday January 7th. He was born July 4, 1923 in Indianapolis, Indiana, grew up in Avon and Lagrange, Ohio, lived in Mt. Carmel, Ky for 35 years before moving to Fort Mitchell in 1995.

Charles was the son of the late Charles E. and May Muse Noble and was preceded in death by Jeannette Wilcox his wife of 47 years, brothers David, Richard and James, son-in-law Gary Hamm, granddaughter Ann McIntyre and great granddaughter Lauren Hipply.

He is survived by brother Edward Noble of Avon Lake, Ohio, daughters Charlotte (Rudy) Dunnigan of Ashland, KY, Carolyn (Jere) McIntyre of Fort Mitchell, KY, Jeannette Hamm of Foxport, KY, and Margaret Jamison of Fort Mitchell, and son Charles Arthur (Candy) of Ribolt, KY. In addition he is survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Charles was primarily a farmer and breeder of Angus cattle, and worked for the Kentucky Department of Highways as Road Crew Supervisor and many years as Maintenance Supervisor with the Fleming County School Systems. He served his Lord in many capacities as a faithful member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and as Trustee at Ruggles Camp and in recent years was a member of the Happy Loafers Seniors at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Lakeside Park, Ky. He also was a Kentucky Colonel, 50 year Mason, Gideon, volunteer fireman, member of several community groups and a proud member of the Republican Party.
