Charles Odgen Blair, JR., age 72, of Heber Springs passed away January 20, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born March 13, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois he was the son of the late Charles O. Blair, SR and Earnest and Evelyn Cunningham Brown. He was a retired army veteran and a member of Sugarloaf Baptist Church.
Charles retired after 23 years in the army. He was also a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and the Rusty Wheels Antique Tractors Association.
He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kaleb Blair.
Survivors include his daughter, Penny Huckabee and husband Rick of Searcy; one son, Kenneth Blair of Oklahoma; one brother, Greg Brown of Heber Springs, Arkansas; two sisters, Alice Brown of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Sheryl Brennan of Henderson, Nevada; five grandchildren, Tabitha Clark, Tiffany Blair, Traci Eubanks, Morgan Parish and Jeri Diane Parish; three step grandchildren, B.C. Huckabee of Searcy, Josh Huckabee of Greenville, SC and Sheena Burns of Cape Girardeau, Missoui; three great-grandchildren, Emma and Lenlee Eubanks and Constance Blair; four step-great grandchildren, special friend Deborah Baldridge and many friends.
