Charles Muni of Burlington Township died Sunday, May 22 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia at the age of 80. Born in Trenton, Mr. Muni was a longtime resident of Burlington Twp. Charles served in the Army Reserves during the Korean Conflict.

He had a long career and was well known in the garment industry. At the time of his retirement he was the Vice President of Quality Control for Jones New York, working in both Philadelphia and New York. Charles was a very meticulous person whether it be his appearance (he was always known as a sharp dresser), his lawn or the fact that he was a very detail oriented person. He enjoyed food and was always ready for a well prepared meal. He also enjoyed crabbing in his spare time.

He was the type of person who would always put other people first. However he will most be remembered as someone who loved his family deeply. Charles is survived by his wife Mary (nee Cianfrogno), his son Kevin Muni, his daughter and son in law Kimberly and Kevin Johnson, his brothers and sisters in law Joseph and Ruth Muni and David and Lynne Muni, his sister and brother in law Jean and Allen Moore as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
