Charles Maurice Smith, 77, died Monday Sept. 8, 2014 in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
He was born Sept. 8, 1937 in Indianapolis.
Charles was employed in maintenance at Royal Foods for 20 years. He retired in 2004.
Survivors include his wife, Sharlie Jo (Blake) Smith of Indianapolis, five children, Cindy (J.R.) Simison of Jamestown, Gloria Helphinstine and Hazel Smith both of Mooresville, Danny (Nancy) Smith and Chuck (Sonye) Smith both of Indianapolis, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Smith and a sister, Shirley Smith.
