Charles “Malcolm” Caldwell, 88, Anderson, passed away May 10, 2011 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson after an extended illness.
He was born April 11, 1923 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of his life. Malcolm retired from Delco Remy and was a member of Fall Creek Christian Church. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jeanne Carpenter Caldwell; children, Cheryl Chuck Nyboer of White Lake, Michigan, Rebecca fiance Jim Gormley Caldwell of Washington D.C., Gayla Morgan of Anderson, and Frank Nancy Jackson Caldwell of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Tiffany Bausman Cureau, Payton Bausman Borowski, Adrienne Welch Mensack, Shelby Morgan Ellerbee, Stephanie Nyboer Brown, Sarah Caldwell Perkins, Andrew “AJ” Caldwell; 14 great grandchildren and one on the way; sister-in-law, Martha Caldwell; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Ash and his staff for their compassionate care.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Caldwell Sr. & Edna Dooley Caldwell, brothers, Richard, Paul Jr and Frank Caldwell; sister, Dorothy Burke and grandson, Cory Welch.
