Charles (Charlie) Jones, 74, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2016, surrounded by family. Charlie spent his life working as superintendent and eventually vice president of J.W. Jones Construction, during which time he built highways, roads, and bridges throughout his home state of New Mexico. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, John W. Jones and Donna Carson.
He will be remembered for his sense of humor, contagious laughter, and his legendary green chile stew and fried chicken. While he was famously stubborn (as are most of the Joneses), he never hesitated to help somebody in need.
