Charles Craig Lay, 36, of O’Fallon, Ill., born January 30, 1971 in New York, N.Y., died Monday, April 2, 2007 at Garden Grove Hospital and Medical Center, Garden Grove, California. Mr. Lay attended The Greater St. Louis Church and was employed by BAE Systems as a computer engineer.
He also served in the US Air Force. Charles is survived by his wife Kellie, nee Mullen, Lay of O’Fallon, Ill, 6 children, Chase, Misha, Zachary, Braedan, Jackson and Makenna Lay, all of O’Fallon, Ill, his father Charles Kent Lay of Trophy Club, Texas, mother Joan Carol, nee Diorio, Barham of Ritner, Ohio, 2 sisters & 5 brothers, Christopher Freiberg of Japan, Frank Wood, Valentina Freiberg of Medina, Ohio, Thomas Lewis of Ritner, Ohio, Michael Lay of Tallahassee, Florida, Charles Lay of Tallahassee, Florida and Jennifer Lay of Indianapolis, IN, 2 nieces, Jennifer Potter and Samantha Freiberg and 2 nephews, Thomas Archer Jr. and Gabriel Sadowsky.
