Charles L. Egner, 85, of Quakertown, died Mon. July 3 in LifeQuest. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Somers) Egner for the past 58 years. Born in Quakertown, Charlie was a son of the late Robert L. and Elizabeth (Heffendrayer) Egner. He was a 1950 graduate of Quakertown High School and served with the US Army during the Korean War. He was a clerk for the US Postal Service for 37 years before retiring in 1989.
