Charles Joseph Puleo, 91, of Silver Ridge Park North section of Berkeley Township passed away on Saturday March 7, 2015 at home. He was born and raised in Newark, NJ moving to Silver Ridge Park North 19 years ago. Mr. Puleo proudly served his country during WWII as a US Marine with the rank of Corporal, participating in action against enemy during the invasion of Okinawa. He was with the first troops to enter Nagasaki after the dropping of the atomic bomb. He was a Regional Sales Manager with Beckman Industries (Cedar Grove Operations) for many years.

He was a member of the Silver Ridge Park First Aid Squad for 16 years where he served as EMT for 6 of those years and his also was an avid fisherman and boater. Proceeded in death by his wife Constance in 2003. Surviving is his two children Thomas Joseph Puleo and his wife Tracey of Sparta, NJ, Catherine Puleo and her husband Anthony Quintenz of Point Pleasant, NJ and also his granddaughter Arianna Constance Puleo.
