Details: Charles Joseph Fink Sr.,87, died September 8 at the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford Delaware. He was a 16 year resident of Laurel, Delaware previously of Chincoteague Island, VA. Born April 21, 1928 in Venango, Pennsylvania to the late William and Dorothy Fink. Mr. Fink was an over the road truck driver for the Teamsters Union who for over 30 years achieved a safe driving record of no accidents, and more then 4 and a 1/2 million miles. He retired in the late 80’s. Mr. Fink was a great story teller and rarely missed an opportunity to tell one. He loved horse racing, fishing he was a commercial fisherman after he retired from truck driving for 8 years till the late 90’s on the open seas, operating his own vessel. He enjoyed hunting and card playing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Lessie E. Fink and his brothers Buck and Bill Fink. Mr Fink is survived by his son Charles J. Fink and his wife Kathy of Sudlersville, his daughters Donna Jean Weltner and her husband Robert of Marydel and Patricia Ann Huber and her husband Neal of Pasadena, his brothers Dickie Fink of Baltimore and Danny Fink of Laurel DE, his sisters Dot Fink of CA, Evelyn”Sis” Hoyer of FL, and Nancy Butts of Pasadena, her grandchildren Rob Weltner, Tonya Fink, Neal and Tammy Huber, and her great grandchildren Bobby Weltner, Dalton Weltner, Brea Handy, Legend Huber, Chase Huber, and Trysten and Autumn Huber.
