Charles Ronald Hobbs, 75, of Troutman, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.
He was born on April 24, 1942 in Iredell County to the late Jesse Henry Guy Hobbs and Laura Mae Ramsey Hobbs.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Reta Wingler Hobbs; son, Michael (Veronica) Hobbs; daughter, Jennifer Hobbs; sister, Joanne Davidson; brother, Larry (Valerie) Guy Hobbs; and two granddaughters, Haven and Hadley Hobbs.
Charles worked for Troutman Industries as well as retired American Stainless, formally known as Romac Metals. Charles enjoyed reading and watching baseball games.
