Charles Hayden Reedy, Jr. age 82, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the Adler Center for Caring in Aldie, Virginia. He was born on April 14, 1935 in Groseclose, Virginia to the late Charles Hayden Reedy, Sr. and Ola Alice (Arney) Reedy. Mr. Reedy received his undergraduate from East Tennessee State University and his Masters Degree from Virginia Tech. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the VFW 7589 Francis Cannon Post. Charles was a dedicated member of Manassas Baptist Church for over 50 years, serving as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was an avid gardener, hunter, fisherman; and loved his family. Predeceased by his parents; siblings: Gladys Ashworth, Thelma Heldreth, Richard Reedy and Margaret McCoy; brothers-in-law: Charles Ashworth, James Heldreth and Bill McCoy; sister-in-law: Helen Reedy. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Irma Lee Norris Reedy of Manassas, VA; four sons: Charles Dean Reedy and wife Brenda Lee Reedy of Nokesville, VA; David Lee Reedy of Drewryville, VA, Duane E. Reedy and wife Melissa Marie Reedy of Nokesville, VA and Nathan James Reedy and wife Jennifer Ann Reedy of Nokesville, VA; ten grandchildren: Jessica Dea Reedy, Samantha Lee Reedy, Murphy Nicole Reedy, Hayden Lee Reedy, Hannah Michele Reedy, Brooke May Reedy, Brenna Grace Reedy, Tyler Daniel Reedy, Amelia LeeAnn Reedy and Jacob James Reedy.
