Charles H. Wolf, 76, of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006, in his home. Charles was born September 4, 1930, in Washburn, Wisconsin to Alma Helen Wussow and Chester Arthur Wolf.

Charles married Betty Baes and then June Burleson both whom preceded him in death. Brothers, Clarence and Rolland Wolf, and a sister, Adeline Wolf also preceded him in death.

On April 9, 1994, Charles married Wilma Seymore who survives. Surviving with his wife Wilma are his sons, Charles (Gloria) Wolf of Antioch, Tennessee, Richard (Barbara) Wolf of Nashville, Tennessee, William (Vicky) Wolf of Waldorf, Maryland; stepsons, Terry (Charlie Jo) Burleson of New Carlisle, Indiana, Mike Burleson of St. Joseph, Michigan, Richard (Rose Ann) Seymore of Elkhart, Indiana, Charles (Christine) Seymore of Mishawaka, Indiana, William (Susan) Seymore of Osceola, Indiana, Max (Cindy) Seymore of South Bend, Indiana; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Charles retired from Whirlpool. He was a self taught banjo player and played the drums for 53 years having played with the Bob Fernau and Frank Yankovich Polka Bands. He was a part of the Drum and File Corps and was also active in the Boy Scouts. Charles was a Navy veteran, having served on the USS Shea and then transferred to six years in the US Naval Reserves. He also served one year in the National Guard in Ashland, Wisconsin.
