Charles H. Smith Sr., 66, of Middletown, husband of Barbara (Carroll) Smith, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 21st at Middlesex Hospital. Born in New York, he was the son of Margaret (Rose) Smith and the late Charles H. Smith, II. Charles was employed at Tri Star Industries in Berlin and was a resident of Middletown since 1986. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by one son, Charles H. Smith, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Killingworth, two grandchildren, Maddison and Maxwell.
