Charles H. Hicks, 88, of Rossville, Passed away, November 11, 2016. He had worked at the Peerless Woolen Mills, where he played fast pitch softball and basketball he also worked at Borg Textiles and Suburban Auto Sales. Charles was a Veteran of the United States Army and served honorably in the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. He was an avid bowler and his top score was 297.
He was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren Shane and Tiffany Hicks and a sister Billie Phillips
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Peggy Rogers Hicks’ sons David (Sheila) Hicks of Rossville and Jim ( Teresa) Hicks of Fort Payne, three grandchildren Matt (Brittany) Hicks, Beth King and Miranda Corona. Great grand Children Connor and Choley Hicks, Sophia Corona and Kiley Corona
