Charles Franklin Shaffer, 50 of Masontown died suddenly Monday August 30, 2010 in Morgantown on his way home from work. He was born April 23, 1960 in Morgantown a son of the late John William and Iva Mae (Sprouse) Shaffer. He was employed locally doing landscape work.
Survivors include: three sons Charles Allen Michael, Paul William Shaffer, and Robert Lee Shaffer all of Masontown; three grandchildren Aliya Leann Shaffer, Haden Bo Michael, and Heidi Elizabeth Michael; five brothers John Shaffer of Cheat Lake, Harvey Shaffer of Snake Hill, Burton Shaffer, Jack Shaffer, and David Shaffer all of Masontown; and six sisters Anna Johnson Mae, Sonna Hussing, Nancy Wolfe all of Masontown, Frances Johnson, Virginia Williams, and Susan Alley all of Cleveland, OH.
He was preceded in death by his brother James.
