Charles McPherson 94, of Kuna died Tuesday April 10, 2012 at St. Lukes Meridian Hospital.  He was born on March 25, 1918 in Ashton Idaho to Charles P. McPherson and Annie Cox McPherson.  The family moved to Meridian when he was 2 years old.  He attended Columbia school through the 8th grade.  He married Marian H. Mays in 1936 in Nevada and together they raised 3 children.  Throughout his life he was involved in the lumber business, plumbing, construction and security, however his heart settled on farming around 1936 and lasted until 2001.  Farming meant a great deal to him. He was well respected in the farming community and most noted for his 2 John Deere combines harvesting thousands of acres of wheat, barley, and corn for local farmers.  He also spent 9 winters in Quartzsite, Arizona helping to develop 2 RV parks. Marian died in November of 2000.  In January of 2002 he married Dorothy Adams.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years Dorothy; 2 daughters Bernice Johnson of Boise and Orvene Stigile (John) of Meridian; a son Doyle McPherson (Lindy) of Kuna; 1 brother Ray McPherson of Meridian; 6 Grandchildren and  13 Great-Grandchildren 5 Great-Great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marian and his grandson Randy Easter.
