Charles Fontana, age 80, of Willingboro, NJ went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2007. He was born May 25, 1927 to parents Emmanuel Fontana and Sylvia Miceli, in Rahway, NJ. He served in the Navy in World War II and was a 50 year member of the Knights of Columbus.
He retired from Campbell Soup Company in Camden, NJ, where he worked for 10 years as a computer operator. He was blessed with 55 years of marriage with his loving and devoted wife, Ann Fontana. Charles was a devoted Phillies fan and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Dana Marie and his brother Anthony Fontana.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his children; Carl Fontana and wife Maryann, Mitchell Fontana and wife Kathy, Sylvia Hayman and husband Reginald and Lisa Browning and husband Michael, his grandchildren; Joseph, Adisa, Mitchell Jr., Anthony, Regina, Alissa, Ana, Daniel, Aaron, Pete, Olivia, Maranda and Ashley, his great grandchildren; Hayden and Mikayla. He is also survived by his sister Rosa Fierro as well as many wonderful family and friends.
