Charles F. Carroll Charles F. Carroll, 83 of Ridgefield, husband of the late Noreen (Anderson) Carroll died on Wednesday evening, September 26, 2012 at his home. Mr. Carroll was born in Stamford, May 6, 1929, a son of the late James A. and Marie (Carey) Carroll. He was raised in Darien, attended Darien schools and graduated from Darien High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. Mr. Carroll was a retired shop manager for Brown Brothers of Fairfield, manufacturers of furniture. Prior to his employment with Brown Brothers, Mr. Carroll was employed with the former Castro Convertible Company based in Danbury. A resident of Ridgefield since 1956 coming from Stamford, he was a former little league coach and a member of St. Mary Parish of Ridgefield. He enjoyed sports. Mr. Carroll is survived by two daughters, Lisa Silvi and her husband, Marco of Pordenone, Italy and Kimberly A. Clark and her husband, Michael of Brookfield; three sons, Charles Carroll and his wife, Kristi of Tampa, FL, Kevin Carroll of Ridgefield and Paul Carroll and his wife, Dr. Heather Luce also of Ridgefield; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Carroll is predeceased by three sons, Gary, Michael and Leigh; two grandsons, Robert Michael and Evan David Michael; two brothers, Edwin and James and two sisters, Rosemary and Kay.
