Charles Edward McCrobie, 71 of Tunnelton, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Preston County on August 21, 1947, son of the late Lawrence and Irene Verrell Louk McCrobie. Charles worked out of Virginia as a Carpenter. He loved deer and turkey hunting and being outdoors with his beloved dog, Shaky. Charles is survived by his caregiver, Adam and Anna Cline and family, Tunnelton; one brother, Daniel Barnhart, Mineral Wells, WV; four-half brothers, David McCrobie, John McCrobie, Harry McCrobie, Samuel McCrobie; eight half- sisters, Rose Mary Weaver, Patty Feathers, Connie Jenkins, Bernie Gibson, Charlotte Kisner, Candy Feather, Ida Stonebreaker and Lilly Reckart. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Marie McCrobie and Barbara Cline, five half-brothers, James, Eddy, Joseph, George and Bradley McCrobie; one half-sister, Pamela McCrobie.
