Charles E, Messics, 84, of Bethlehem, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at Holy Family Manor. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna (Magyarics) Mesics. Charles honorably served his country as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked as a draftsman, a real estate salesman and an estimator until retiring, He was a member of St. Joseph’s Windish Catholic Church in Bethlehem and the Jefferson Democratic Club.
Survivors: Children, Mark and his wife Karen of Orefield, Dr. Sharon Messics of Crownsville, MD, Dave and his wife Susan of Jarrettsville, MD, Suzanne of Philadelphia, Eric of Palmerton, Grandchildren, Collin, Patrick, Megan and Erica, Brother, John Messics of Bethlehem. Charles was predeceased by his brothers Frank and Ernest and sisters Theresa and Julie.
