Charles E. Dale, 76, Anderson, passed away November 7, 2010 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson, Indiana after an extended illness.
He was born February 11, 1934 in Livingston, Tennessee, and resided in Anderson most of his life. Charles retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 40 years of service. He attended Anderson Church of the Brethren and was a member of the Charleigh Association.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruth Nevins Dale; daughters, Toni Bean Tim Of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Tammy Pruitt Mike of Goshen and Dana Hardy Pat of Pendleton; sister, Bobbie Gunnels Charles of Livingston, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, General Hobson & Oga Dillon Dale; two brothers and three sisters.
