Charles E. “Butch” Kiessling Sr., 81, of Allenwood, died peacefully, Saturday, March 24, 2018, at his home. 

Born Nov. 7, 1936, in Williamsport, he was a son of John and Rhoda (Neidig) Kiessling. 

Butch had worked as a truck driver for Gulf Oil, Eazor Express and Stroehmann’s. He attended St. Boniface Catholic Church and more recently attended Church of the Resurrection. He enjoyed drinking coffee, camping, and traveling. He was a former member of Old Lycoming Twp. Vol. Fire Company.

Surviving are two children, Charles E. Kiessling Jr. (Gayle), of Williamsport and ReVonne D. Kiessling, of Williamsport; three grandchildren, Justina Rhinehart (George Miller), Benjamin Kiessling, and Kathryn Nickles (Mark); three great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Brayden, and Declan; and four siblings, Rita Baver, William, Robert and Fred Kiessling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty (Werner) Kiessling on Jan. 4, 2018; and ten siblings.
