CHARLES “CHUCK” DIMARCO JR., passed away peacefully on March 10, 2023 at the age of 61.Beloved son of the late Charles and Frances (nee Miller); loving brother of Rosemarie McCray (Edward), Theresa Huskey, Carolyn Meininger (Matthew), Barbara Lanford (Craig), Christina Dinges (Michael), and Anthony (Katina); dear uncle of Barbara Jean Putnam (Eric), Michael Danielson, James Huskey, Catherine Miller (Scott), Eric Meininger, Grace Meininger, Trevor Lanford, Zachary Lanford, Madison Lanford, Joshua Dinges, Jacob Dinges, Preston DiMarco, and Scott DiMarco; great uncle of four. Chuck is survived by many dear friends whom he considered family!
As the eldest son in a large Italian family, much was expected of him and he handled it with grace. He eventually took over and expanded the family business, working in the trucking industry for over 40 years.
Chuck lived his life by leading with his heart which made him easy to love. He selflessly was a caretaker for both his father and mother in their time of need. He was the big brother and protector to his siblings, and the consummate gentlemen to everyone that knew him. He was always there to offer his help and support when needed.
Chuck set the standard for the world’s best uncle and all his nieces and nephews loved him. He was always present at their events, whether near or far. He was well-known for giving the very best gifts to the kids!
Chuck had a wonderful extended family of friends, some of whom he knew since childhood. They enjoyed hanging out with Chuck because he was fun loving, generous and found the simple laughter in daily life. Whether they were playing cards, watching sports or making the annual trip to Vegas, Chuck was the guy that everyone wanted to be around.
Chuck left an indelible mark of love on his siblings, friends, nieces, nephews and his compassion for family extended to his aunts, uncles and cousins. His compassion also included his “pets” as he always made sure to feed any animal that came outside his house. You knew when Chuck was present because there was joy in the room. It is his joy that will live on in everyone who knew him.
