Charles DeWayne Spurgeon, age 57, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019. Beginning his career working in the family bakery, he built his work ethic toward customer service in the hospitality industry. He grew in the hotel industry as a sales manager at several local hotels and continued to deliver excellent service throughout his career. He was active in local politics serving on various boards as well as running for Rio Rancho City Council. He was an avid concert goer, especially classic rock and the band Styx.
Charles will loved and missed by all.
