Muncie-Charles “Chuck” D.
He is a 1975 graduate of Muncie Southside High School. Charles married the love of his life, Tina (Taulbee) Evans on June 7, 1977 in Muncie and she survives. Mr. Evans had worked in the Maintenance Department for the Muncie City Schools prior to his disability in 2005. He had enjoyed hunting, working, weight lifting and collecting antiques. Charles was part of the 1975 State Wrestling Champions from Muncie Southside High School.
Besides his wife of 37 years Tina, he is survived by four daughters, Shawnna Evans (companion-Jason Foster), Albany, Maranda Harty (husband-James) and Tasha Evans, both of Muncie and Darlena Evans, Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Zayda, Mayley, Alayah, Zarah, Gabriel and Amarah; two sisters, LaDonna Hollowell (husband-John) and Brenda Whittenburg (husband-Danny), both of Muncie; two brothers, Carl and Norman Evans both of Muncie.
He was preceded in death by both his parents.
