Indianapolis: Charles D. “Chuck” Overman, 60, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Indianapolis, on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.

Chuck was born in Marion, the son of Gearlene “Gerri” (McNutt) Fisher and Raymond Overman. He graduated from Eastbrook High School in 1972 and received his BA degree from Purdue University in 1982. Chuck was a life member of the Purdue Alumni Association, the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity and the Circle City Conservation Club. His career as an Information Technology Consultant included Home Hospital, Mid-States, Covance, Fort Benjamin Harrison, and PTI. Chuck enjoyed being an outdoor enthusiast, camping, fishing, wood-working, traveling, sports, gardening, grilling out, cooking, and his birds, Zeke, Zoe, and Zac. He was an avid Purdue fan! Chuck was an extremely loving son, brother, husband, nephew, and uncle. His family feels very lucky to have had the pleasure of him being a part of their lives. He dearly loved his family and friends and will be sadly missed by all those who were a part of his life. Chuck lived life to the fullest every day.

Chuck is survived by loving and caring wife, Debbie Overman; siblings: Cindy (Rick) Wright, Upland; Lynn (Marge) Overman, Fort Wayne; Bobby (Michael Lindsay) Overman, Bloomington; Danny Overman, Indianapolis; Eric (Michelle) Overman and Jennifer Overman, Louisville, Kentucky; Father: Raymond (Barbara) Overman, Louisville, Kentucky; Uncle Bob (Kathy) McNutt, Indianapolis; Mother-in-law: Mary Burnside; Sisters-in-law: Brenda (Merle) Kenworthy, Lafayette; Annette McClain, Lafayette; Cousins: Mary Merchanthouse (Frank Waltermann); Jeff McNutt; Bobby (Cede) McNutt; Donna (David) Vaught; Nephews Nieces: Aaron (Amy) Hoover; Danielle (Glenn) Howard; Shannon (Kelly) Hoover; Mikeal Kenworthy; Samantha Walton; Matthew McClain; and several great nieces and nephews.

Chuck was preceded in death by his mother and step-father; Gearlene and Bill Fisher; Grandmother: Mary “Mamaw” McNutt; Uncle Max and Aunt Ruby Bender; Cousin Jim Bender, and Father-in-law; Charles Burnside.
